By the numbers this rare 1968 Mustang code 8, Shelby Cobra GT 350 Mustang Fastback was built in the (code T) Metuchen plant and it is one of only 1053 fastbacks. It is a real Shelby GT 350, code 02, it came with a 302 V8 engine, code J. According to the door tag, it is a Shelby Fastback, code 63B, Acapulco blue car from the factory code D- 3077A paint code. We just painted the car and it looks incredible. Rare black knitted seats 5AA, build date April 8, 1968 08D, Order #8D2843, 3.50 standard axle ratio code 8, C-4 Automatic transmission. This beautiful car was sold in Jacksonville Florida. The paint and body are very nice on the car and have less than 100 miles on the professional paint job. The engine comparment is show quality with the correct 302 high perfomance GT 350 engine, nicely optioned with the one of 33 cars to have the extra cooling package, factory AC, Visability group, sport deck rear seat, Power steering, Power front disc brakes, Tilt-away steering column, AM radio, Interior decor group, and heavy duty battery, Tachometer and trip odometer, front and rear bumper guards and wheel lip moldings. The interior is in very good condition and shows very well. The undercarriage is very nice and shows well. The car is rolling on a correc set of Hurst Shelby Style wheels and is truly a pedigree blue chip muscle car.
