This rare and beautiful 1968 Mustang GT convertible car was meticulously rotisserie restored by its previous owner who is a highly respected Ford judge and participant on the show circuit. With only 1500 babied miles since the nut and bolt rebuild. This cherished muscle machine has won countless trophies to include many ''Best Of Show'' awards. The original color from the factory was code D Acupulco Blue. When the car was repainted the owner preferred the Shelby Medium Blue Metallic that has an incredible deep wet look and accented by a white C stripe. All of the exterior chrome and trim looks show quality with all of the correct GT badging in place. The convertible top is new and has been left up since installed to prevent any wrinkles that would detract from its as NEW appearance. The numbers matching 390 4 bbl. engine has been completely rebuilt to factory specifications by the previous owners son who is a long time Ford master mechanic. The automatic transmission is the correct U code C-6 which puts power to the code 7 3.25 to 1 rear end. Options include power steering and power front disc brakes. The Parchment vinyl interior is in amazing condition throughout and looks like the day it arrived at the Ford dealership. The painstaking attention to detail is very evident in the undercarriage of this pony with all new hardware and pristine metal structure. The styled chrome wheels have with GT center caps and are wrapped in NEW Firestone F7014 Wide Oval tires. This GT is a rare investment grade muscle car that can be driven, shown and enjoyed for many years to come.
