Triple Black 1968 Corvette, convertible, 427/400hp tri-power engine, 4-speed, power steering, power brakes and power windows.  This sleek black Stingray has had an extensive restoration. The mirror finish black paint and body lines are exceptional with excellent panel fitment, new bumpers and the big block hood and trim.  This car was originally safari yellow from the factory, was changed to black and looks amazing. The interior and top are new and color correct, upgraded with a black Hartz cloth top. The drive train re-build was completed by Larry Snell of Snell Automotive. The engine is believed to be original and is a date code correct, 427/400hp, High Perf engine block. The engine pad was decked during the engine rebuild process and is topped off with the correct Winters intake, tri-power, three two barrel carburetor set up, ignition shielding and a recently rebuilt, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Nicely optioned with power disc brakes, power assisted steering for easy turns with a big block engine and rare factory smog pump. The undercarriage is very clean, solid and intact with nice frame and floors, has had the suspension rebuilt, a new gas tank and newer stainless exhaust. The black leather interior is like new, with newer black seat upholstery and door panels, newer carpet and a crack free dash with clear crisp instrumentation, original Corvette stereo with upgraded Retro Radio with cell phone connection and power windows. This American Dream Machine looks factory correct rolling on 8" Corvette rally rims and BF Goodrich white letter radials.
