This American Dream Machine was born and raised in Los Angeles California which is validated by the beautiful metal structure of the car and the trim tag. It was born a real SS 396 car on the second week of October 1968 with (C-1) Ermine white paint and 724 red interior. The previous owner improved the car in many ways and had the car painted torch red and replaced the red interior with correct standard red interior and added the RS head light option which incudes a new Detroit Speed And Engineering electric kit. The car has incredible metal structure and was worthy of the extensive restoration it received. Under the hood it is incredible. The spotless engine compartment embellishes a rebuilt 1969 427 from a corvette.The engine was upgraded from a 390hp to a 425hp with receipts from the engine shop. The car is loaded with power steering, power disc brakes and and a Be Cool aluminum radiator to keep the big block cool. The car is launched by a 4-speed and backed up by a 12 bolt Posi traction rear end. The red interior is just as nice as the rest of the car with brand new red bucket interior and a crack free console with gauges and TicToc tachometer. New door panels, carpet and a brand new black convertible top. Having a undercarriage with structural integrity is extremely important on any car, especially Camaro pony cars, and this car is no exception. This California born car has beautiful metal structure. The 427 has a nice rumble going through newer dual Flowmaster exhaust. The multi-leaf suspension helps to hold the rubber to the road rolling on brand new 17 inch Rev Chrome wheels and Michelin/Riken Raptor low profile performance tires. These wheels can be exchanged for stock rims to save some $$$.
