Very rare, one of only 2853, 1966 Oldsmobile 442 convertibles with 400 CI V8, 700R4 Automatic transmission, air conditioning and loaded with power options. According to the state of Maryland and its Department of Transportation the actual mileage was 18995 in 2014 and is verified on the title. The straight and solid body on this 442 has great lines and consistent gaps. The paint is smooth with a glossy finish. The chrome bumpers, grill and emblems are in great shape. The convertible top is power and in excellent condition. Under the hood is the correct 400 CI engine with casting number 390925E. Edelbrock polished aluminum intake and carburetor feeds the fuel. Power steering, power brakes, air conditioning and cruise control makes this ragtop a blast to drive. Large capacity aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan keeps things running cool. 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive makes this 442 great for the highway. Like new factory bucket seating. New 3 spoke wood steering wheel with horn cap. The undercarriage is rock solid and has been painted black for a clean appearance. Headers rumble into dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers for real a muscle car sound. New chrome Oldsmobile rally wheels wrapped in BFG's look and set the car off for that perfect 442 muscle car look.
