INTERIOR
The interior appears to be almost all original and is in great condition for a 49 year old stingray. The dash is crack free and and clear crisp gages. The leather seats are in amazing condition and were replaced with limited use. The carpet was replaced and looks great. The is in good condition and must have been replaced. Even the clock and radio work as they should.
MECHANICS
The engine and drive train on this car are very impressive and set this car apart from most other mid-year Corvettes. The original engine is long gone and has been upgraded with a fire breathing 1969 Corvette LX series engine 427 cubic inch 450hp 4 bolt main engine with the large oil plug. The engine was dyno tested and has over 450 foot pounds torque. 850cfm Carb. The engine was professionally built in 2009 with minimal miles since. The car controls the power with disc brakes. The 4 speed Muncie transmission was built at the same time with a new Super Case and and shifts beautifully. This car launches straight burning rubber in first, second, third and fourth gear. The undercarriage, frame and the bird cage are in great shape with no rust issues. The suspension rides nice and tight. The car sounds incredible with factory side exhaust. This beautiful street beast is rolling on an newer set of KO wheels with aggressive tread performance tires.
