This rare blue chip muscle car has had a three year no expense spared nut and bolt restoration. The restorer started with a perfect candidate for restoration, a very nice original fuelie split window Corvette that had one owner for 57 years, still color correct  with a numbers matching drive train front to back.  The engine, transmission and fuel injection system was rebuilt and verified to be numbers matching and date code correct. The beautiful fiberglass Stingray body with impeccable panel fitment was sanded down to the gelcoat and professionally painted in correct Daytona blue with a slight metallic flake that glimmers in the sun. The car was jeweled with lots of new or restored chrome, hood inserts, grill, stainless, rocker moldings, door handles, tail lights, glass and rubber gaskets. The interior was restored to the same high level with new seat covers and foam, new carpet, door panels, dash, correct Corvette radio, instrument cluster refurbished gauges that are correct for a higher horsepower fuel injection car and the odometer was reset to zero and now has less than 200 miles showing. The engine compartment is like new, with correct, rebuilt, fuel injection unit 327/360hp engine with correct valve covers, air cleaner, ignition shielding, new refurbished and date code correct Dewitt radiator to keep the car cool.  The undercarriage has also been restored to high standards with lots of new parts, exhaust, brakes and suspension, virgin fiber glass floor and a clean black frame.  The car is factory correct with new Corvette spinner wheel covers and black wall tires.
