Stunning Triple Black 1959 Corvette, 2 top roadster with white coves and major curb appeal. Powered by a great running and highly detailed 283 c.i. engine, shifted by a 4- speed manual transmission. It's hard to top the gorgeous body lines of a black Corvette C1 roadster. Extremely well cared for car that has been meticulously maintained and we preserved over the years. The paint was done a few years ago and has just been wet sanded and buffed to a deep mirror finish shine. Nothing looks better on a beautiful black Corvette than shiny chrome and this car has lots of it. Mostly very nice original chrome and stainless trim which is a testament to the care it has received throughout its life. Great panel fit and finish with doors that open and close easily. The interior has just been refurbished with new seat upholstery, new door panels, new carpeting, new sill plates, new kick panels and refurbished factory steering wheel with new horn center. The brand new convertible top is black and has just been professionally installed for an excellent fit. Rolling on wide whitewall tires and correct factory spinner hubcaps for timeless good looks.

Wikipedia Information"The Chevrolet Corvette, known colloquially as the Vette or Chevy Corvette, is a sports car manufactured by Chevrolet. The car has been produced through seven generations.
The first model, a convertible, was introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept show car. Myron Scott is credited for naming the car after the type of small, maneuverable warship called a corvette. Originally built in Flint, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri, since 1981, the Corvette has been manufactured in Bowling Green, Kentucky and is the official sports car of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. While always being an automobile known for speed and performance throughout its history, the Corvette has evolved throughout the generations into becoming the widely regarded although never officially declared flagship model of the Chevrolet car brand."
"The first generation of Corvette was introduced late in the 1953 model year. Originally designed as a show car for the 1953 Motorama display at the New York Auto Show, it generated enough interest to induce GM to make a production version to sell to the public. First production was on June 30, 1953."
"The 1959-1960 model years had few changes except a decreased amount of body chrome and more powerful engine offerings."
