Bright red 1957 Chevrolet Pickup, EXTENSIVE RESTORATION, new red paint. This is a second series truck. The truck is a 3200 with 3100 emblems. Brand New wooden 8 foot bed. New big mouth chrome grill and bumpers front and back. New correct red bench interior with correct 1957 gauges. Under the hood has been upgraded with V8 power. This classic second series truck just looks so right is rolling on new extra large wide whites and caps for that nostalgic curb appeal.
EXTERIOR is a solid as they come. Paint is new base and clear coat that is smooth, the body is straight as an arrow. New sheet metal, front and rear fenders, front inner fenders, complete box and tail gate. New chrome for the front and rear bumpers as well as the grill, fender, emblems, door mirrors and door handles. New head light bezels, front turn signals and tail lights. Also new tail gate chains, windshield, glass rubber seals and weather strips. Box floor has new stainless steel rails and oak flooring. New 15 inch wheels, dog dish hub cap, trim ring and Firestone vintage wide whites finish the truck off perfectly. Also, drivers side has a new matching spare tire and wheel paited to match the others.
INTERIOR looks brand new. Above has a new headliner, seal, sun visors, interior light and rear view mirror. Dash: new glove box door, liner, heater controls, all control knobs with the original gauges are crisp and clear. Under dash: new painless wiring, fire wall pad and gas pedal. Doors new: window and door handles, door panels and hindge covers. Seat has been custom done with red vinyl and sits nice and firm. New floor rubber matt and Lokar shifter. The radio is AM/FM with MP3 and Aux stereo.
MECHANICAL Engine is a dressed out 350 with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and carburetor. Chrome dress up kit includes valve covers and air cleaner. There is a new raditor clutch fan and alternator. Drive line has a 400 turbo 3 speed automatic transmission and a 10 bolt rear axle. Exhaust is running cast iron manifolds with dual pipes and oval mufflers.
UNDERCARRIAGE Looks brand new with everything clean and painted. Looks like a new truck on the bottom. The extra wide whites and spare look amazing and iconic rolling down the road.
