Frame-off restored 1955 Chevrolet Nomad dressed in Onyx Black. Nicely optioned with a Power Pac 265 cubic inch V8 engine, PowerGlide automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, factory air conditioning and new red and white interior with black dash and garnish moldings. An extensive frame-off, nut and bolt restoration performed on this highly optioned Nomad masterpiece. This Nomad was purchased from California by the restorer in 2015 where it spent its whole life since new. We have may early registration receipts to validate this Nomads past. The structurally beautiful, well preserved Nomad body was sanded down to bare metal before being professionally painted in Onyx Black. New gray tinted glass was installed all the way around to accent the black paint. New chrome bumpers with bumperettes were installed, new grill, emblems, tail lights and the rear door was professionally restored with new trim. The Matador Red waffle pattern interior with India Ivory tuck and roll trim was professionally restored by Ciadella Interiors and looks rich next to the refurbished and repainted onyx black dash.  The interior also shines with new stainless trim, correct GM radio, restored black steering wheel and the correct AC vents in the dash.  The new interior includes: seat upholstery, seat structure, door panels, carpet and stainless strips.  The engine is show quality and factory correct with 265 cubic inch v8 engine, power pak heads, a four barrel carburetor and correct air cleaner. The car is loaded with factory power options, two speed PowerGlide automatic transmission, power assisted steering, power brakes and factory air conditioning, freshly rebuilt by Original Air.   The undercarriage is what you would expect from a high end, frame-off restoration. The beautiful metal floors are painted in correct red oxide, with new suspension parts, new gas tank and a professionally painted frame. This investment quality Nomad is rolling in style on correct steel wheels and rare Nomad wire wheel covers and classic wide whites but is also available with the stunning new 20 inch chrome American Racing wheels and performance tires for a whole new look.
